Pamala Barnett

OpelousasPamala Chachere Barnett, age 59, died on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Opelousas General Health System. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Mrs. Barnett who was a native of Opelousas and resident of Port Barre is survived by her husband, Mr. Jesse Barnett, III; two sons, Jesse P. Jay Barnett, IV and wife, Amy Rozas Barnett of Carencro and Christopher Blaine Barnett and wife Akemi of Japan; a sister, Lynne Chachere Webre of Opelousas; 3 brother-in-laws, Barry Barnett and wife Kay of Lake Charles, Duke Barnett and wife Jill of Lawtell, and Brett Barnett and wife Darla Fontenot Barnett of Port Barre; five grandchildren, Caitlin, Zoe, Reina Semone, Christopher Asani and Branden Habiki Barnett; and her beloved puppies, B.B., Queenie, and Beau.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis White Chachere and Earlene Able Chachere and a brother, Louis White Louie Chachere, Jr.
