Panda Faye Ledoux Wieweck passed away at her residence in Krotz Springs, LA, on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the age of 63.

A Celebration of Life Service for Panda Wieweck will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, LA. Father Henry Antony and Brother Don Disotell will officiate the service. A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Panda will be remembered as a very kindhearted woman whose warmth was felt by those around her. She was charismatic and always smiling. Her faith was an important part of her life, and Panda enjoyed attending church later in life which helped her find peace. She had her struggles but always made an attempt to bring a bright and loving presence into the lives of others. She expressed her love for her family through writing letters; a personal and meaningful way she stayed connected and shared her heart. She was also affectionate by nature, enjoying giving hugs and kisses and making people feel cared for. Though distant from her children and family, a spot remains in their hearts as they found ways to forgive her.

Panda is survived by her son, Brandon Wieweck and girlfriend, Tessa, of Austin, TX; her daughter, Jennifer Mires Bihm and husband, Mike of Washington, LA; her brothers, Keith D. Ledoux and companion, Gwenna of Slaughter, LA; and Vernon Ledoux, Jr. and wife, Cherie of Denham Springs, LA; her half-sisters, Violet Musson of Pride, LA; and Mandi Ledoux Milam and husband, Ken of Grenada, Mississippi; her three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and her former husband and friend of the family, Bubba Mires.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James “Dick” Jay Wieweck; her parents, Vernon Ledoux, Sr. and Univ Perry Ledoux; her infant son, Joey Wieweck; and her brother-in-law, Paul Musson.

As family and friends remember Panda, she found peace with God and isn’t struggling anymore. Her memory will remain cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
