Pearl Murphy Wagner

Melville Funeral services for Pearl Murphy Wagner, age 86, will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Melville, followed by interment in the First Baptist Church of Melville Cemetery. The Reverend Buddy Webb will conduct the services.

Msr. Wagner, a resident of Livingston and long time resident of Melville, died on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 4:34 p.m. at Hospice of Baton Rouge.

She is survived by a son, William Lloyd Wagner, Jr and wife Gutrude; grandchildren, Haley and Mallary Wagner, David, Dale, and Jeffrey Spears, all of Livingston; sisters, Jean Whitlock, Lucille Anglin and Barbara Hisaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Lloyd Wagner, Sr.; parents Ollie and Maude Powell Murphy; a son, Charles Davide Wagner; grandson, Kenneth Charles Wagner; brothers, Clyde, Ollie Jr., Jack, Richard and Jimmy Murphy.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Melville on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 1:00- 9:00 p.m. and will re-open on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
