Funeral services for Peggy Duplechain Metrejean will be held on Monday, March 10th, 2008 at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs at 10:30AM with the interment in the First Baptist Cemetery in Krotz Springs. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mrs. Metrejean, a resident of Krotz Springs, died at Opelousas General Health System, Friday at 9:30AM.

She is survived by her ex husband; Kirby Metrejean of Opelousas, 2 sons; Jeremy Metrejean and his fiance Shanna and Johnny Metrejean and his wife Heather all of Krotz Springs, a daughter; Jamie Metrejean and her fiance Chris Schexneider of Krotz Springs, brothers; Ronnie Duplechain of Port Barre and Charles Duplechain of Arnaudville and her sisters; Tammy Armond of Krotz Springs and Terry Boyd of Branson MO. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.

Mrs. Metrejean was preceded in death by her parents; Johnny and Rose Andrus Duplechain, a sister; Cheryl Johnson and her father-in-law; Paul Kerney Metrejean.

Visitation will be observed on Sunday, March 9th from 5:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue on Monday at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs from 8:00AM until the time of service.
