Peggy Louise Guidry Theriot, born in Church Point, Louisiana on January 14, 1943, passed away in Arnaudville, Louisiana, on November 4, 2026, at the age of 83.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm by Cecille Dupre.

Visitation will continue on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 8:00am until 10:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Father Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Peyton Theriot, Ryan Smith, Gavin Domengeaux, Grant Domengeaux, Michael Bass and Bill Miller. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryan "RJ" Turner.

Peggy will be remembered as a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures and in the people she loved most. She loved to play pokeno, enjoyed going to auctions, and always found comfort and enjoyment in reading. Family beach vacations were among the times she treasured, creating memories that remained close to her heart. Above all, Peggy loved her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held an especially special place in her life.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Theriot and his wife, Aimee; her daughters, Jessica Theriot Smith and her husband, Dwayne and Jennifer Theriot Turner and her husband, Ryan; her grandchildren, Brooke Smith Miller and her husband, Bill, Morgan Smith Bass and her husband, Michael, Ryan Smith, Peyton Theriot and his wife, Madison, Gavin Domengeaux, Grant Domengeaux and Ryan "RJ" Turner, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Aubrey Bass, Owen Bass, Lawson Bass, Asher Theriot and William Miller; her brothers, Robert Guidry, Vic Guidry, Jude Guidry and his wife, Janet, and Chris Guidry and his wife, Renee; and her sisters, Lynette Guidry and Monica Guidry.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Hilman Theriot; her parents, Adam and Rosita Guidry; her brother, Carl Guidry; her sister, Kathy Guidry; her great-granddaughter, Adalyn Theriot and her Godchild, Adam Guidry.

Her life was marked by warmth, devotion, and the quiet happiness she found in being surrounded by those she loved. The memories she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her and shared in her love, laughter, and companionship.
