Peyton Cornette

Opelousas - Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, February 2, 2018 for Peyton Jeffrey Cornette in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until time of service. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the funeral service. Burial will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Peyton Cornette, age 17, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Peyton was a member of the Redline Automotive, Louisiana Truckin and the Lucky 13 Hunting Club. Peyton loved hunting, fishing, mud riding and attending truck meets. Most of all, he loved hanging out with his family and friends. Peyton will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Paula Cornette and fiancé, Heath King; his father, Wells Cornette and wife, Katy; his girlfriend, Londyn Noell Charpentier; his godfather, Spencer Cornette and fiancé, Rebecca Hollier; his godmothers, Crystal Cormier and Peggy Monte; his brothers, Mike Murphy Cornette, Matt Axelson Cornette, Maxx Ellis Cornette and his sister, Britney Domingue and his nephew, Bowen Jacquneaux. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Linda and Eldon Cornette and his maternal grandmother, Florence Domingue.

Pallbearers will be Carter Cornette, Brandon Gardner, Hunter Benton, Noah Midkiff, Dylan Broussard, Matthew Myers and honorary pallbearers will be Luke Guilbeau and Bryson Jacquneaux.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Peyton's name to defer funeral costs. Checks can be made payable to Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home.
