Purvis Roy Phillips

Mr. Purvis Phillips, age 71, a resident of Melville, LA, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019.

Purvis enjoyed motorcycles, coaching sports and fishing and hunting with his sons.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his companion, Linda Wiltz of Melville, LA; his sons, "Danny" Daniel Phillips and wife, Karen, of Ponchatoula, LA; Clinton "Clint" Phillips and wife, Cheryl, of Biloxi, MS; Jesse Phillips of New Orleans, LA and his brother, Julis Phillips of Slidell, LA.  He is also survived by five grandchildren, Kara P. Heck, Luke Phillips, Blaze Phillips, Chance Phillips and Hunter Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Phillips and Victoria Neefs Phillips; his brother, Edward Phillips and the mother of his children, Deborah "Debbie" Shill Phillips.
