Born on September 20, 1947, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Robert was known for his gentle humor, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His life was a testament to enduring love and steady grace-a legacy that will continue to echo through the lives he touched.
A skilled welder by trade, Robert took great pride in his craftsmanship. He spent many years working with Georgia Pacific and most recently with Turner Industries Construction, where his dedication and precision earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Whether on the job or at home, Robert's hands built more than structures-they built a life full of meaning, care, and connection.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sheryl Dupre Fogleman, and his parents, Woodrow and Dorris Fogleman. Their memory remained a guiding light in his heart.
Robert is survived by his four sons, each a reflection of his character and care, Robert W. Fogleman, Jr. and wife, Tanya of Baton Rouge, LA; Woodrow B. Fogleman and wife, Jessica of Colorado Springs, CO; John B. Fogleman and wife, Charity of Baton Rouge, LA and Timothy S. Fogleman and wife, Brenda of Edmond, OK. He was a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, whose laughter and stories brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his sister, Dolores Swann of Morrow, with whom he shared a lifetime of cherished memories.
Robert's legacy is one of quiet generosity, steady love, and a life well lived. In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor his memory to extend a kindness to someone in need-a gesture Robert would have quietly cherished.
