RUDOLPH JOSEPH DEVILLIER SR.

Funeral services for Mr. Rudolph Joseph Devillier Sr. will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 10:00AM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Chapel in Opelousas with the interment in Bellevue Memorial Park. The Rev. Ted Hall will conduct the services.

Mr. Devillier, age 81, a resident of Opelousas, died Monday morning at 4:45AM at the VA hospital in Alexandria, LA. He was a veteran in the United States Army.

He is survived by 6 sons; Rudolph Devillier Jr., Frederick Devillier both of Opelousas, Leroy Devillier and his wife Nancy of Eunice, Jacob, David and Eben Boo Devillier all of Opelousas, 3 daughters; Dolores Devillier, Eva D. Clavier and her husband Leonard and Mary Richard Devillier and her husband Keith, all of Opelousas, 2 brothers; Edward T-Boy and Raymond Devillier., all of Opelousas He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Devillier was preceded in death by his parents; Frederick Devillier Sr. and Azelea Rose Noel and his wife; Eva Richard Devillier.

Visitation will be observed on Monday, February 25, 2008 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00AM until the time of service.
