Sybil Janice Little, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born on April 9, 1952, Sybil lived a life marked by care for others and enjoyment in the simple, meaningful things that brought her happiness.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs. Sybil found joy in creativity and in the outdoors. She enjoyed working with crafts, especially beading and making jewelry, and she loved spending time caring for her plants. These interests reflected her patient nature and the warmth she brought to everyday life.

Sybil is survived by her son, Phillip Kyle Manuel and wife, Jennifer of Covington; her daughter, Jennifer Schneider of Port Barre; her brother, Doug Pennington and wife, Marilyn of Baker; and her two grandchildren, Russell Cole Stonecypher and Colin Johns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert George Little and Rexie McDaniel Little; her brother, Lonnie Pennington; and her sister, Katherine Ashford.

Sybil will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, and for the kindness and care she shared with those around her. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
