Tammy Ann Miller was born on August 21, 1976, in Opelousas, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at Kaplan Healthcare Center. Tammy exemplified a loving spirit throughout her life, leaving a profound impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Mass of Chistian Burial for Tammy Ann Miller will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, Louisiana. Father Ken Domingue will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal and burial will be held in the St. Leo Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Blaine Stelly, Cameron Stelly, Logan Deville, Kyle Deville, Timothy Deville and Daniel Carrier.
Tammy was known for her warmth and kindness, embodying a very loving heart. She had a passion for cooking, particularly delighting family and friends with her specialty—stuffed bell peppers.
Her love extended beyond the kitchen; Tammy cherished spending valuable time with her godchildren, Logan Deville and Cameron Stelly, as well as her nephew, Kyle Deville. The joy she found in these relationships was a source of great happiness.
Tammy had a special love for animals, particularly her two beloved dogs, Chloe and Pixie. Her bond with them showcased her compassionate nature.
Tammy is survived by her brother, Blaine Stelly (Sara), and sister, Elaine Deville (Timothy), who will carry her memories forward.
Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell J. “Big Dee” Miller; and parents, Atlay "Jo Jo" Joseph Stelly and Cecile "Te Te" Stelly.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Heart of Hospice and Kaplan Healthcare for their wonderful care that was given to Tammy.
Tammy’s legacy of love and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed but always remembered.
