Utley was known in his community for his commitment to honest business practice. He first owned and operated Wyble's Auto Supply from 1976 to 1981, providing reliable service and building lasting relationships with neighbors and friends. In 1981, he established Wyble's Sales and Service, which he ran with great pride from 1981 until his retirement in 1997. His presence in the business world was marked by integrity and a determination that inspired those who knew him. Also, Utley honorably served in the United States Army and took great pride in his military service.

Outside his work, Utley cherished the outdoors, finding solace and joy in hunting, fishing, and camping. He had a particular fondness for watching football, celebrating both the triumphs and the camaraderie of the sport. Cooking was another of his passions; he delighted in preparing meals and enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with loved ones, a true expression of his warmth and generosity. Above all, he savored time spent with his family, creating memories that will endure for generations.

Utley is survived by his son, Jude Wyble; his brother, Gervis Wyble and his wife, Kathleen; and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix Wyble and Beula Laviolette Wyble; his sisters, Carrie Wyble and Mildred Wyble Fontenot; and his brother, Ken "Blackie" Wyble

Utley Wyble’s legacy is etched in the hearts of all who knew him through his kindness, his strength, and his enduring love for those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will be cherished always.
