Willie Rodriguez

Funeral services for Willie L. Rodriguez will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Melville with the interment in the First Baptist Cemetery in Melville. Pastor Buddy Webb will conduct the services.

Mr. Rodriguez, age 61, a resident of Melville, died on Sunday, February 24th at Opelousas General Health System at 8:53 PM.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife Lela C. Rodriguez of Melville, La., his sons; Chad Rodriguez and his wife Katrina of DeRidder, La and Willie Bop Rodriguez, Jr. and his wife Trista of Melville, his daughters; Shelly Taylor and her husband Mark of Opelousas and Sandra R. Barker of Melville, his brothers; Arthur Joe Rodriguez of Melville, Earnest Rodriguez of Jarreau, La and Sammy Rodriguez of Haughton, La. and his sisters; Bobby Gerbine of Haughton, La and Susie Worley of Livonia, La. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Alex and Adam Rodriguez, Alexis and Aaron Barker, Amber and Patrick Taylor and Abigail and Rena Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his brother; Jake Rodriguez and his sisters Edrena Boobie Duvall and his parents; Edward and Rena Fruge Rodriguez.

Visitation will be observed on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 4:00PM until the time of the services, Wednesday.
