Catherine Joyce Taylor

Visiting hours for Catherine Joyce Stout Taylor will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.  A rosary will be prayed 11:30 AM by Deacon Dwayne Joubert with funeral services being held at 12:00 PM.  Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service.  Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor, age 86, a resident of Butte LaRose, LA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Taylor; her son, Michael Taylor; her daughter, Donna Taylor; her brother, Cedric Stout and her sister, Genevieve Darbonne.  She is also survived by two grandchildren, Brandon and Zachary Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rita Nezat Stout and eleven siblings.
