Eunella "Nellie" Devillier

Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Nellie Devillier will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs.  Reverend Allan Meyers and Reverend Michael Devillier will conduct the service.  Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nellie Devillier, age 63, on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Opelousas General Health System.

Nellie loved sewing, cooking, Betty Boop and eating at Mama's Fried Chicken.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Jason Adams, Sr. and wife, Kiley, of Downsville, La.; her daughters, Lisa Adams of Krotz Springs, La., Trista David of Plaucheville, La., Jessica Henry and husband, Mike, of Melville, La., Dawn Brown and husband, Michael, of Melville and Sara Morain and husband, Brandon, of Palmetto, La.; her brothers, Mitchell Devillier and wife, Tina, Keith Devillier and wife, Melanie and J.D. Deviller and wife, Farah and her sisters, Gwen Devillier Nohra (Trent LeBlanc) and Anita Blackwell (late husband, Don).  She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Martha Devillier.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs.  The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Steven Devillier, Trent LeBlanc, Willie "Bop" Rodriguez, Jr., Kirk Devillier, Blake Johnson, Jason Adams, Jr. and Johnny David.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to defray funeral costs.
