It is with deep sorrow we regretfully announce the passing of Joey Bordelon on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the age of 61.

Joey was an active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where he was a member of the church council. His faith was very strong and believed that God and his family were the most important things in his life.  He was a wonderful provider, loved his family and was known as “Pa-Pa” to his grandchildren.

Joey loved cooking for his family and friends and having suppers in the shop.  He mostly enjoyed making sausage and tasso which he shared with others.  He loved playing his guitar and listening to all kinds of music.  Most of all, Joey was a kind, loving and gentle soul who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Joey will forever be remembered and missed by his wife of 41 years (in October), Cynthia Boudreaux Bordelon; his daughters, Mary Alice Blanchard and husband, Trevor, Catherine “Amelia” Bordelon; his two grandchildren, Emma Blanchard and Owen Blanchard; his mother, Rowena Devillier Bordelon; his brothers, Steve Bordelon and wife, Cheryl, Mark Bordelon and wife, Marie; his sister, Andrea Vidrine and husband, Mike; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Silton and Estelle Boudreaux; his brothers-in-law, Keith Boudreaux and wife, Nancy, Samuel Boudreaux, Aaron Boudreaux and wife, Crystal; his sister-in-law, Lorraine Boudreaux and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Bordelon and his brother, Clarence “Little Boo” Bordelon, Jr.
