Joseph "Joey" Harrington

A Celebration of Life and Funeral services for Joseph "Joey" Allen Harrington will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Krotz Springs.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs.

Joey entered eternal life on Saturday, October 31, 2020.  He enjoyed many aspects in life. He enjoyed getting his hands dirty with his carpentry work, as well as being very talented in multiple trades. He enjoyed cooking while being surrounded by family and friends. He also enjoyed having days in the woods hunting or a day on the water fishing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joey is survived by his companion, Christa Conner of Krotz Springs; his mother, Cindy Rodriguez Harrington and companion Gerald Williams of Melville; his father, John "Jr." Harrington, Jr. of Melville; his grandmother, Corene Harrington of Melville; his sons: Joseph "Bubba" Harrington, Jr. of Melville; and Gaige Ellis of Krotz Springs; his daughter, Miranda Harrington of Krotz Springs; his sister, Neica Harrington of Port Barre; his nieces and nephews: Kayleah Firmin, Wyatt Firmin, Kendalyn Firmin and his godchild, Adam Firmin II; his great nephew, Aiden Miller;  and his god parents: Melissa Montgomery of Melville; and Gene Jones of Melville.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret "Gaye" and Arthur "Joe" Joseph Rodriguez, John Harrington Sr.; and his aunt, Tammy Rodriguez.

Honorary Pallbearers will include Joseph "Bubba" Harrington Jr., Gaige Ellis, Gerald "Paco" Ducote, Blake Rodriguez, Brad Bennett, and Brogan Deville. Noah Ducote, Jacob Firmin, Brandon Ponthieux, Adam Firmin, II, and Wyatt Firmin
