Kenneth Roy Reviere passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA, at the age of 75. Kenneth was a United States Navy veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked as an operator for Phillips Petroleum Company for most of his career.

A fixture at his local gym, Kenneth could be seen lifting weights, punching bag, or walking the track daily. He rooted passionately for his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals, and closely followed Formula 1 racing and Professional Bull Riding. A graduate of Eunice High School, he enthusiastically participated in annual Alumni softball tournaments.

Kenneth was a great cook and master storyteller. He genuinely loved children and viewed animals as God’s creatures. He was a patron of the arts and enjoyed music and film. He spoke French fluently and enjoyed conversing at local French Table get-togethers.

Kenneth was a passionate man who followed his heart. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Carencro and was committed to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. He loved his family -- especially his children and most of all his wife, Regina, to whom he sang every day. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Regina Daigle Reviere, of Carencro, LA; his sons, Marc-Alain Reviere of Dallas, TX; and Michel Pio Reviere of Lafayette, LA; his daughter, Regina Reviere of Lafayette, LA; his brothers, Tommy Quinealty and wife, Joyce Courville Quinealty of Cleveland, TN; and Donald Glen Reviere of Swords, LA; his sisters, Sherry Dupre and husband Chuck of Leander, TX; and Jo Lynn Reviere of Opelousas, LA. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abbie Reviere and Cammie Perrodin Reviere of Swords, LA; his grandparents, Solomon Reviere and Edmonia Godeaux Reviere of Mallet, LA; and Robert Perrodin and Lucy Dupre Perrodin of Plaisance, LA.

Pallbearers will be Michel Pio Reviere, Donald Reviere, Gerald Daigle, Jean-Luc Billeaudeaux, Michael Reed, Haays Latolais, and Kye Latolais (honorary).
