Lloyd Arnaud, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lloyd Vincent Arnaud Jr. announce his death on Monday, December 13, 2021, at his residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. The Reverend Gregory Simien will Celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive guests at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until Mass time.

Mr. Arnaud worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 2008. Lloyd was a humble and loving man who loved his family dearly.

Lloyd’s loving sister Cecille Dupre wrote of Lloyd, “My brother Lloyd gained his wings. He fought his battle and carried his cross with our Heavenly Father. RIP. We love you and will miss you.”

Lloyd enjoyed riding on his four-wheeler around his property as well as cutting his lawn.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Charlene May Arnaud; daughter Kimberly Fusilier and her husband Pete ; sons, Vincent Arnaud, Sr. and wife Angela, Kirk Arnaud and his wife Donna, Jearl Matthews and his wife Nancy, Scott Matthews and his wife Shannon and Timmy Matthews and his wife Cheri; brothers, Marvin Arnaud, Ronald Arnaud, and Leon Arnaud and his wife Dianne; sisters, Evelyn Arnaud Kidder, Rose Arnaud Breaux, Margaret Arnaud Thibodeaux and Cecille Arnaud Dupre and her husband John; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Vincent Arnaud and Evelyn Marie Miller Arnaud; brothers, Elvin Arnaud and Francis Arnaud.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Arnaud, Raphael Breaux, Johnny Dupre, Todd Breaux, Vincent Arnaud, Jr. and Chad Breaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Arnaud, Sr. and Kirk Arnaud.
